Get the Results You Need From a Private Investigator

Getting started with the correct Maryland Private Investigator often seems to be the hardest part in your decision to actually hire a Private Investigator in the first place. Most people who are thinking of having someone investigated need to decide on who will conduct the actual investigation. Meaning which investigation agency will provide the best fit for their desired needs. In today’s busy world most will search online for a Private Investigator in their area. Different agencies will come up in the search and the next decision is which agency will work the best for the prospective client as mentioned above. Most importantly make sure you are searching for the correct type of Private Investigator - Most specialize in specific areas such as Domestic which involves areas such as Divorce, Child Custody, Infidelity, Cheating or Boyfriend/Girlfriend relations. Some will focus more on criminal investigations, there is insurance fraud, accident reconstruction, employee theft, ….you get the idea. For instance at www.WardInvestigations.com , domestic is all we do. If you call here requiring accident reconstruction, we’ll tell you would better off with another agency. When choosing your Maryland Private Investigator it is a good plan to have your questions written down when you make your initial call. Many times when a person calls us they say “I have never made a call like this before”, therefore it becomes a sense of going in unchartered waters and could be maybe described as troubling whereas you simply don’t know what to ask once you get us on the phone for your free consultation we always provide to all our clients. Hopefully the guidelines below will help in choosing a Private Investigator that will get the results you need. #1 - Read Reviews from previous clients. All cases worked by Ward Investigations are confidential to the client therefore we cannot give a potential client a list of customers who have used our services, but most companies in this day and age do have online reviews. #2 - Ask about concrete proof - Photos - Videos - reports - How is this handled by the agency? What is necessary for evidence as required by law? #3 - Investigation Gimmicks? What is new in surveillance equipment and does it really work? The present "buzz word phrase" "Do you use GPS Tracking Devices?" Be careful - these devices can be helpful but they can also hinder - hopefully your consultation will answer those questions as to whether the addition of a tracking device is needed. Some agencies like to tack on an extra fee for using the device when not necessary. #4 - Agreements with agencies - Read them!!! Don't get caught by surprise with small print or hidden fees ( after 9pm charges – photos will be charged extra and so on) #5 - "How did I feel when the call ended?" Once you have made your initial call you should feel that the person or agency you spoke with wants to be a "Team Player" with you -build the case together and work the case together". Did you get all your questions answered and did you get an honest answer if what you require can be done for you? #8 Once all the above criteria is met then it is time to get things rolling according to when the "Client" feels the case should be worked. Some agencies work the case whenever with no consultation - At www.WardInvestigations.com we work your case with an agreed plan to be conscious of money spent. With a clear plan hiring a Maryland Private Investigator should bring the results you need. Keep in mind at www.WardInvestigations.com your consultation is free and our goal is Results.

A LETTER OF THANKS

It does not happen often but every now and then a client will contact us and let us know the outcome or update of their life after we have been hired as their Private Investigator.

Recently we heard from a lady that used our services and she wrote:

Dear Ward Investigations:
I just thought I would drop you a note and “Thank You” for the time and money you saved me once I decided to hire a Private Investigator. My “Ex” was definitely the biggest pile of _____ and went on for months trying to convince me that he could change and become a good guy. He ended up marrying the girl that you found him with on several occasions and now I hear that she is having him followed!! The old saying goes “Once a cheater – always a cheater”.

I want you to know that I have told anyone and everyone I know that is you suspect your mate to be cheating “Hire a Private Investigator”. I have passed Ward Investigations on to many acquaintances – not telling you this to get something back as you gave me more than I ever expected. The Private Investigator that I worked with from your company was a straight shooter – showed me what I needed to see but he did it with compassion and sensitivity along with honesty.

Just thought this needed to be shared – Sometimes the truth hurts but once one moves on and moves away from who is hurting you – Life becomes Grand!!

Feel free to contact us by visiting us at www.WardInvestigations.com - We are a Maryland Licensed Investigator.

INFIDELITY AND YOUR DIVORCE SETTLEMENT

INFIDELITY AND YOUR DIVORCE SETTLEMENT

Infidelity not only destroys marriages — it can also change your divorce settlement in a big way!

When Infidelity comes into play – Divorce is now a “full on” Battle of Control.
Many of the clients that call www.WardInvestigations are given just this type of advise. Ward Investigations calls it “Taking over the Playing Field and Leveling it”. The initial Free Consultation takes the Ward Investigations Client through a serious of questions and answers that allow the Investigators at www.WardInvestigations.com who is a Licensed Private Investigator in Maryland to formulate a plan.

Infidelity in a marriage or even a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship takes away the trust and when this happens one is compelled to be much more aggressive about finding out the nature of Infidelity. Who is it, where and when do they meet and how much of the common marriage money is being spent on this “third party”.

When the Ward Private Detective team puts a Client’s case together our goal is to have a happy Client when finalize the case. Once the Client has come to the realization that Infidelity is truly happening to them we educate the client how this will affect them now and in the future!! Who gets what? How will I survive? What is my future? It is painful to think of how many “Cheaters” seem to not think about the following before the game begins.
Division of Assets: The home, Bank Accounts, Cars, Vacation Homes, Boats and On
More important: Loosing the kids – Can you put a price on that?
Embarressment: Friends, Neighbors and Relatives
Job: Depending on the line of work one can loose their job

Ward Investigations www.WardInvestigations.com also will advise clients to speak with their attorney but the fees spent with a Private Investigator can be paid by the spouse in a divorce. Ward Private Investigations will testify for our Client in court if needed. Also check with your attorney – in many cases the spouse can be reimbursed for money that the “Cheating Spouse” spent on the “Affair”. Always remind yourself that the spouse that had the affair has had ALL bargaining power taken away! With that in mind Ward Investigations absolutely advises their client to NOT date and play the “Get Even Game”.
That can happen once the divorce is over – at this time you are Getting Even with Divorce Strategy – make it your second job. Ward Investigations and the Client become partners. Keep in mind that each state has different divorce laws and it is important to know the law. UNTIL you are divorced you do not take up dating, cohabiting or clubbing – no matter what you are told

Ward Investigations www.WardInvestigations.com is a Maryland Licensed Private Investigator . Call for your free consultation 410-685-2009 Baltimore Area or in the Montgomery County Area 301-261-1029.

CLIENT FEEDBACK

This past spring Ward Investigations a Maryland Private Investigator successfully conducted surveillance on a “Cheating Husband”. The good news “Thank You Ward Investigations” is that they provided the most professional service and saved our marriage!!!

This past spring I was sure my marriage was in trouble and my mind was taking me to the thought of loosing my husband and knowing that something terrible was going on. I was sure my marriage was about to end and that my husband was “cheating”. He had all of a sudden had a renewed interest in his looks, his job and fitness. His new routine started with becoming interested in his diet, he immediately lost 15lbs which lead him to getting into a fitness routine after work. I noticed he wanted to get to his office earlier than usual and that he would put his bike on his vehicle and take it with him along with a change of clothes. I was sure he was finishing his day early and heading off to see someone he had met or even someone who works in the office with him. When I would call the office at 4pm he had already left and would not return home until dusk. At home in the evening he seemed to have a skip in his step and took an interest in doing chores at home that were usually ignored. I was sure he was keeping himself busy to avoid any confrontations with me.

I confided in a friend who suggested I contact a Private Investigator. I did not know where to start so I googled Private Investigator in Maryland and found Ward Investigations www.WardInvestigations.com . I dialed the number that morning and hung up (301-261-1029), that evening when once again he was not home I called again. This time I went through with the call and spent over 40 minutes speaking with a gentleman that seemed more interested in what was going on that led me to these beliefs than watching the time on his watch. I felt like I was speaking to someone who was interested in finding out what I needed to know and the next morning I hired Ward Investigations. I provided them with my husbands’ workplace, vehicle information and other places he might go for biking and or fun after leaving work. I also mentioned a name of a co worker who seemed to be friendly with him at the office Christmas party.

Surveillance was conducted over the next few days (seemed like weeks in my mind). www.WardInvestigations.com followed him from work - biked the same trails and even followed him to the car wash where he cleaned muddy bike on a Saturday and then washed his own vehicle. After several attempts to catch them www.WardInvestigations.com let me know that my husband was up to nothing but having regular workouts on his bike. They suggested to me that I needed to relax and get back to good thoughts in my marriage. It was a struggle in my mind but within a few weeks I decided to take a positive approach to this and not act like I was constantly trying to catch him on the wrong side of the fence. Once I became comfortable out of the “blue” I was invited to join him on a Saturday morning for a bike outing – he had my old mountain bike clean and ready to go (one of those projects he was doing at night when I thought he was avoiding me). We now bike on a regular basis together, share stories of old times and have captured many new memories.

I am so happy that I let a professional company such as Ward Investigations handle my case as they gave me solid information yet sound advice. I am not sure how long I would have played the mind games with myself and possibly could have ruined a solid marriage that is now very much back on track. To save you the trouble their information is provided www.WardInvestigations.com 301-261-1029

www.WardInvestigations.com The Egg Man

WardInvestigations.com case in May 1998
This is client became referred to around the office as “The Egg Man”. www.Wardinvestigations.com does not generally accept these types of cases as we are here to serve the domestic related area of investigations, however this client was sent to us from his brother who had used www.WardInvestigations.com for a child custody case a few years back, and asked personally if we could help out his brother.
So the situation was this… this guy lived in Kensington, Maryland and had a child who was in the 9th grade at the time. For whatever reason a group of kids in his school decided they did not like him too much, and thought it would be a good idea to start egging his house on the weekends. The client mentioned to Wardinvestigations.com that it pretty much happened every weekend, but he really did not know exactly when it was going to happen. Anywhere from Friday at 9pm to Saturday at 1am, he just did not know. We went over to his house to look at the layout. He lived on a court which was good, however the rear his house backed up to another house, and that house was on a main road around the neighborhood. www.WardInvestigations.com generally tries to get away with one investigator whenever possible, however in this case we had to use 2.
First weekend www.Wardinvestigations.com is in place and ready to go. Both nights nothing happened at all. So the only thing we could do is to set up for the following weekend. The following Friday night we set up just after dark, waited until about 2am, no action so we it was decided by the client if nothing by 2am pull out. Back on the scene the next night. One investigator herein referred to as investigator 1 is setup in the court itself in a pickup truck and is actually hiding in the bed of the truck opposed to sitting in the front seat where he could be spotted, while the other investigator herein referred to as investigator 2 is set up on the main road behind the house with communication being done with Nextel phones. We were not really sure how many kids were involved with this, however we believed there had to be at least 2-3 which we could easily handle. Just shy of midnight investigator 2 stationed behind the house all of a sudden notices about 12 kids come running around the side of the house (the house behind The Egg Man’s) Not really in a position to grab 12 kids as they are all running and spreading out the investigator radios over “get over here I have them in sight but there is like 12 of them” Investigator 1 replies, “I caught one, I have one!!!” All the other kids are running in different directions so investigator 2 decided to follow 4-5 of them running in the same direction with the thinking they are heading to their car. The do in fact run to 3 series BMW, they all pile in and take off. Investigator 2 continues to pursue them in his vehicle slowly through the neighborhood staying as far behind as he can as it clearly looks like they are searching for the rest of their friends, and did not want to leave them on the field of battle. After about 5-6 minutes they notice they are being followed and take off at a high rate of speed, leaving the neighborhood and getting on a main road. The chase went on for about 2-3 miles and Investigator 2 was driving a much faster, and much better handling car, so it was pretty simple for him to catch them and maintain a postion right behind them. Then as a result of not being able to get away the kids started driving in somewhat of an erratic manner, so investigator 2 decided to let them go opposed to them possibly getting into an accident, and returned back to the house. The one that was caught ratted out all his friends, so we got all the names, descriptions, and a few other bits of information. We also got the information from his I.D., a photograph, and then the client decided to he wanted to release him, and he would just go to the school the following Monday to obtain the necessary contact information for their parent to inform them of what has been going for the last few weeks, as well as some restitution for some damages.
So that was it, we caught the kids, and were pretty sure that would end their shenanigans. So Investigator 1 & 2 were basically done, and we left then house, but decided to meet up a small park area in the neighborhood to get everything together prior to departing for the night. While standing the park reminiscing about the actives of the evening, a car pulled up with several teenagers in it. They got out and started talking to us about what was going on. They stated they were not involved with any of this (yeah right..ha ha ) but just wanted to know who we were, how we got involved and what happened. We gave them a little information and let them know we would continue to be around checking in on the house during various weekend hours. We also inquired as to why these kids picked this house to egg. They informed us the boy that lived there was a real trouble maker. He was kind of described as the kid that did not fit in very well, and took revenge on those that did by always snitching. We did not condone their actions, but I guess we all remember that one kid.

www.WardInvestigations.com

October 2004…
WardInvestigations.com was contacted by a very prominent business man in the Annapolis, Maryland area. It was told to wardinvestigations.com his wife had recently been contacted or been in contact with an old high school flame from 25 years ago who now lived in Germany, but was coming to the US in a few weeks, and would have a several hour layover at BWI prior to continuing onto the Miami Florida. He requested that we start surveillance on her first thing in the morning from their home, did not care what it cost, and wanted 5 investigators on the case to make sure we did not lose her. We stressed 5 investigators was a tad overkill, however if that is what we wanted we would surely comply. We settled on 2 investigators as work at the airport can be a tad tricky because of the parking. We started the case first thing in the morning, arriving around 7am. First thing we noticed was their house was roughly 18K square feet, the property was huge and gated. We set up so that regardless of which direction she went when she left we would not have any problem following her, while at the same time allowing us to stay as far away from the house so as not to be detected, or attract attention. She left around 8:30, and proceeded to drop her kids off at school, and even went into the school for a short period of time. At approximately 9:45am she left the school, and proceeded to a local coffee house where she went in, got coffee, and read the paper for a while. 11:00am back in the car and now we are off again headed towards the Annapolis Mall. She parked in the underground parking and headed into the mall. She shopped at a few women’s stores for about an hour, grabbed a bit to eat, and we are off again. Her vehicle got on 97 North, and appeared to heading towards BWI as planned. She arrived at BWI around 1:30pm, pulled into the parking garage, parked, and exited the vehicle. One investigator was able to obtain a parking space in very close proximity so that her SUV was clearly visible thus he exited his vehicle and followed her into the airport. The second investigator also got a space, and maintained surveillance on her vehicle. She waited at the gates, and roughly 15 minutes a large heavyset man appeared, they hugged, light kiss, and started to walk towards the exit. Once we were all back in our cars, the second investigator re-positioned closer to the exit, and investigator one maintained visibility of her vehicle. They got in the vehicle, and sat…., and sat, and sat. 20 minutes went by and not too much was happening at this point other then what appeared to be them simply talking to one another. Then about 30 minutes into this they both got out of the vehicle in what we assumed to be them going back into the airport so he could catch his flight. However it was clearly evident he had a tad more time on his hands when they opened the back doors of the SUV and climbed in the back. The windows had a light tint but the investigator could still see enough to even get video of the goings on. The seat reclined, and she jumped on top of him. At this point the second investigator was brought over to the scene so he could witness the activities. After about an hour more of this it was clear they were not planning on going anywhere, and really did not seem to mind all the people walking by. The second investigator was released to keep cost down for wardinvestigations.com services. We are now on hour number 2 of this activity with no end in sight. The windows are pretty fogged up at this point so the video was getting a tad hard to continue, and we really had more than enough anyway. It is now a little past 4pm, when they both exited the vehicle, got back into the front seat, and seemed to be getting their composure. 4:30pm he exited the vehicle alone, and walked back into the airport. She then left the area and was followed back towards Annapolis by the sole investigator from WardInvestigations.com per the directions from our client. She got off at an exit for Mountain Road and went to a house in the Severna Park, Maryland area, or what could be considered maybe Arnold, Maryland picked up her kids, and proceeded back to her house where the wardinvestigations.com investigator ended the surveillance for the day.
The following day a call was placed to our client at which time all the activities from the prior day were discussed. The fact she met this person was really no surprise, as he really knew it was going to happen, though he really thought it would be more of a getting some lunch, and maybe, possibly going a hotel type thing should the mood arise, however it was the opinion of his case manager from wardinvestigations.com he really seemed convinced the hotel would be a stretch. Needless to say he was tad floored to hear that 30 minutes after meeting this guy at the airport and after not seeing him for 25 years they were in the back seat of her car minus various articles of clothing. In addition he was not really too thrilled about the fact all this happened in between dropping off and picking up of their young children. The client requested we hold onto all the information we had in our file at the wardinvestigations.com home office and he would get back in touch with us in a little bit. Several months went by, and just during the course of other work wardinvestigations.com was doing around the Annapolis, Maryland area our investigators would occasionally see this women cruising around town in the same car in the same area of Annapolis, Maryland she lived so we assumed a divorce never occurred or was simply ongoing. After about 7 months our client called the WardInvestigations.com office and informed us he decided to work out the situation with his wife, and asked that we continue to hold onto the information he had, and in the event we did not hear from by the end of the year we could dispose of it.
We did never in fact hear from this client again by the end of the year so we assumed they did not get a divorce, and though wardinvestigations.com managed to obtain all the information necessary to get a divorce based on adultery, this was one marriage where forgiveness came into play, and the marriage was saved.
Wardinvestigations.com did hear from this client again until about a year later but it was for some additional surveillance work needed in the Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Bethesda, Maryland totally unrelated to any personal family members. He say they worked out their problem, and have been happy ever since. I would tell the story of the new investigation he asked of WardInvestigations.com as it’s a rather interesting one, however I don’t want to divulge too much information about a singular client, as WardInvestigations.com needs to maintain confidentiality at all times regardless of how old a case or client might be.
Hope you enjoyed just one of the many cases from years past. Have a great day !!!
